After getting blown out in game two by a score of 107-88, the Celtics bounced back in a big way taking down Golden State 116-100 at home in game three. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart all had big games for Boston.

Tatum had 26 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds in 41 minutes played, while Brown had 27 points, 9 rebounds 5 assists, and Smart had 24 points 7 rebounds and 5 assists in game three.

These three players lead the way for the Celtics in their game three victory. For Golden State Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins stepped up but the rest of the Warriors team didn’t.

Curry had 31 points while shooting 54.5% from the field, while Thompson had 25 points on 38.5% from the field and 100% from the line, and Andrew Wiggins had 18 points while shooting 43.8% from the field.

The players who failed to step up for Golden State last night were Draymond Green, and Jordan Poole. Green had an abysmal game only getting 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Jordan Poole only had 10 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds in game three. Green, Poole, and the rest of the Warriors supporting cast will have to step up in game four if they want to tie the series at two.

Game four will be on Friday night at 9:00 in the TD Garden again, where I think the Warriors will even the series.
