(77WABC)-Police say two people, were pronounced dead, after being discovered inside of a burning vehicle in the Bronx.
At approximately 4:19 Monday, May 16th police responded to a 911 call of a vehicle on fire on Shore Road in the vicinity of Pelham Split Rock Course, in the Bronx. Officers from the 45th Precinct responded.
Upon arrival, police observed a Honda Accord on the side of the road engulfed in flames. The FDNY was already on the scene when police arrived and the fire was extinguished.
Two unidentified bodies were found inside of the vehicle.
Police say both individuals were pronounced deceased on the scene by EMS.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
