NEW YORK (77WABC) — The NYPD is looking for two thieves who were caught on video ransacking a Lower Manhattan bodega — even throwing a computer monitor at a worker.
According to police, the two men and a woman walked into the shop on John Street near Broadway around 11:25 p.m. on Feb. 16. Police add the pair demanded merchandise from a 28-year-old male worker and refused to pay.
The footage shows them then pushing and tossing items on the counter, including two display cases holding scratch-offs.
The two began shoving counter items at the worker and threw a computer monitor at his head. The thieves took about eight packs — worth about $120, then fled on foot.
EMS responded and transported the victim to New York Downtown Hospital in stable condition.
Police said one of the male suspects was last seen wearing glasses, a black jacket, black pants and a red hoodie. The other man wore a black hoodie, black Adidas pants, a black backpack and red hat.
The woman with them wore glasses, a red jacket, dark colored patterned pants and dark colored boots.
