NEW YORK, NEW YORK  (77WABC)- The City is dealing with sickouts due to COVID across all platforms, and the MTA is no exception.

Some subway lines were forced to suspend service because of a shortage in staffing.

The MTA had to apply the brakes to The B, Z and W lines Thursday, due to coronavirus staffing shortages.

The MTA says all subway stations throughout the transit system remain open.

Meantime, COVID testing sites are being set up at subway stations throughout the city.
