Queens, NY (77WABC)-Police are looking for an unidentified female suspect who allegedly assaulted an NYPD police officer in Queens.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the woman.
Shortly after 3 am on Sunday, Nov. 7th, 2021, police say the woman they are looking for was inside of Chubby Burger’s & Chicken at 25-97 Steinway Street when the woman allegedly hit another person in his head with a shoe.
It turns out, the victim hit by the shoe was an on-duty NYPD Police Officer in uniform. The officer struck by the shoe and other uniformed officers had responded to a 9-1-1 call about a disorderly group of customers at the fast food establishment.
The officer experienced pain and bruising to his forehead after being hit with the shoe. He was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Elmhurst in stable condition. The unidentified woman who hit the officer fled the Chubby Burger & Chicken on foot.

Police say the unidentified female is seen before and after she removed her jacket and wig.
