Friday is finally here and Bernie & Sid in the Morning is here to kick of your weekend with a roundup of all the week's top stories. The Gubernatorial races in both Virginia and New Jersey are heating up, as Terry McAuliffe tries to outrun rightfully pissed off school board parents and Jack Ciattarelli closes the gab between himself and New Jersey incumbent Phil Murphy. The supply chain shortage continues to wreak havoc on the west coast and it won't be long until we start to feel the effects of it here in New York. It doesn't seem like Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg cares at all, though, as he continues to swing and miss when asked about a potential solution to this massive issue. Sanjay Gupta returned to his safe haven yesterday that is CNN to try and explain his controversial conversation with Joe Rogan from earlier this week. Rogan confronted Gupta on CNN's lies regarding the drug Ivermectin, and Gupta failed to offer an answer as to why CNN would lie about such a thing. Kyrie Irving's hiatus from the Brooklyn Nets reaches day three as he still isn't willing to get the vaccine. In an Instagram video posted to Irving's account, he does his best to explain the situation and why he feels the need to speak out on the matter. Bernie & Sid clash on whether or not Kyrie should be looked at as a martyr or not. As is the case every Friday, Peter Gaudio joins Bernie & Sid in the second hour of the program for his "Fitness Friday" segment, and make sure you don't miss the Friday editions of Lidia Reports and The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest.
