Knicks Fans Back At The Madison Square Garden – NYC
New York, NY (77WABC)-On Wednesday, tickets for “NYC Still Rising After 20 Years: A Comedy Celebration,” at Madison Square Garden will go on sale via Live Nation and MSG. On Friday, general tickets will go on sale for the event at Ticketmaster.com.
All proceeds from the Sept. 12th concert will benefit 9/11 charities.
Set to perform during the star-studded one night only event are Dave Chappelle, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Fallon and Amy Schumer. Colin Jost, John Mulaney, Michael Che and Wanda Sykes are also in the line up. The show is his brainchild with Pete Davidson, who will also perform.
Officials say proof of a Covid-19 vaccination will be required for entry into MSG.
As a result of the attacks on Sept. 11th, 2001, 2,977 people were killed, 19 hijackers committed murder-suicide, and and more than 6,000 others were hurt.
The immediate deaths included 265 on the four planes (including the terrorists), 2,606 in the World Trade Center and surrounding area in lower Manhattan, and 125 at the US Pentagon.
