Mastic, NY (77WABC)-A man was found murdered inside his home at 114 Poospatuck Lane in Mastic on the July 4th Holiday.
Homocide Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Department are investigating Josue Bedell who was found shot to death during a requeted wellness check.
Police say they received a 911 call from Bedell’s family requesting a wellness check at 10:05 a.m. Sunday after they were unable to reach him since Saturday.
Bedell was found dead by police of a gunshot wound.
An investigation is ongoing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on Bedell’s death to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Investigators say all calls will be kept confidential.
