An 83-Year-Old Among Those Rescued by the FDNY as Flames Shoot from a Hells Kitchen Apartment Building

New York, NY (77WABC) HELL’S KITCHEN, Manhattan (WABC) — Firefighters used a bucket truck to safely rescue an 83-yearold woman and others from a fire escape as flames shot from their Hells Kitchen apartment building early this morning.

The two-alarm fire broke out around 1:30 am on West 50th St.

Flames could be seen shooting from the third and fourth floors of the apartment building above the popular Rancho Tequileria restaurant.

Three residents and three firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital to be checked out.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
