New York, NY (77WABC)-Police have charged 50-year-old Au Triquant in Saturday’s fatal stabbing of his brother at their St. James Place Apt. in Manhattan.
61-year-old Wilson Au of 15 Saint James Place was fatally stabbed in his torso shortly before 3 pm. Police found him unconscious and unresponsive on the floor of the brothers’ apartment. Au was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Triquang Au is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say he was taken into custody at the apartment without incident following the fatal stabbing.
Police have not yet released a motive for the killing.
