VIDEO:Burglar Steals $12,800 In Cash & Jewelry After Removing 4th Floor Window Guard

(Bronx, NY/77WABC)-The NYPD says a burglar scaled a fire escape, removed a fourth-floor window guard, entered an apartment thru the kitchen window in the vicinity of Leland Ave. and Guerlain St. in the Parkchester section of the Bronx stealing $5,500 in cash and $7,300 in jewelry Mon evening.

The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo regarding the burglary that occurred on Monday, February 22nd, 2021 at approximately 6:20 pm within the confines of the 43rd Precinct.

The suspect police are searching for is described as an adult male, dark hair, light-skinned with a medium build, 150 lbs., approximately 5’6″ tall. He was last seen wearing a black reflective jacket with the word ‘spectrum’ printed on the front, blue pants, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and red sneakers.
