Trump Warns Bombs if Iran Deadline Passes…

(Tehran, Iran) – President Donald Trump is signaling that U.S. military action against Iran could resume within days, as a fragile ceasefire nears its expiration and diplomatic efforts remain uncertain.

Speaking in a televised interview, Trump made clear he is prepared to escalate if negotiations fail, saying, “I expect to be bombing… we’re ready to go. The military is raring to go.” He also indicated he is unlikely to extend the current three-week ceasefire, even if talks show signs of progress.

The warning comes as tensions continue to center around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route that carries a significant share of the world’s oil supply. The waterway briefly reopened following a reported breakthrough late last week, but that progress quickly unraveled after disagreements over U.S. restrictions on Iranian shipping.

Iran has since pushed back, raising concerns that the strategic corridor could again become a flashpoint—something that previously triggered spikes in global energy prices.

Behind the scenes, Vice President JD Vance has been involved in ongoing diplomatic efforts, with a potential trip to Pakistan under consideration as part of broader negotiations. However, uncertainty over Iran’s participation has cast doubt on whether meaningful talks can move forward before the deadline.

Trump has also intensified his rhetoric in recent days, warning that additional targets—including infrastructure—remain on the table if Tehran does not agree to what he described as a “fair” deal.

“They have to negotiate,” Trump said, adding that Iran has an opportunity to rebuild its position if it comes to terms quickly.

With the ceasefire set to expire and no clear agreement in place, the situation appears increasingly volatile—leaving the possibility of renewed conflict on the horizon if diplomacy fails.
