(Washington D.C.) – Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman was the only Democrat to vote against a war powers resolution demanding that the President go through Congress before any further attacks on Iran. Fetterman has been vehemently pro-Israel, so it’s no shock that he has come out fervently supporting the Trump administration’s joint strikes with Israel against Iran. The once progressive bulwark has sided with Republicans several times since his election in 2022.
Love it.
Not sure why it’s controversial to anyone to appreciate and celebrate wiping out 49 leaders of one of the most evil regimes in recorded history. pic.twitter.com/3lyV8fsId4

When it comes to Iran, Fetterman has been pretty unfiltered about his support. Fetterman has said he would support Israeli officials who want to eliminate the entire line of succession for the Ayatollah. During an appearance on CNN, Fetterman says when it comes to potential leaders in the Islamic Republic: “just keep killing them”.
Khamenei said Iran would send our carriers “to the bottom of the sea.”

This is by and large not the first time Fetterman has crossed the aisle. The notorious hoodie was traded in for a full suit during President Trump’s State of the Union address – which many took as a sign of respect for the Commander in Chief. Back when the government broke a record for the longest shutdown, Fetterman was also one of the 8 Democratic Senators who sided with the GOP to open things back up.
