(Washington, DC) – Former President Bill Clinton testified under oath that he has no knowledge of President Donald Trump being involved in criminal activity connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to testimony given during sworn proceedings, Clinton stated:

“Trump has never said anything to me to make me think he was involved [with Epstein].”

The remark came as part of broader questioning surrounding Epstein’s associations with high-profile political and business figures.

Context of the Testimony

Clinton, who has faced years of scrutiny over his own past contacts with Epstein, was asked about Trump’s relationship with the financier during questioning.

While Trump and Epstein were known to have moved in overlapping social circles in the 1990s and early 2000s, Trump has previously said he distanced himself from Epstein long before Epstein’s 2019 arrest on federal sex trafficking charges.

Clinton’s sworn statement appears to reinforce Trump’s longstanding position that he was not involved in Epstein’s criminal conduct.

Background on the Epstein Case

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges involving underage girls. He died in jail the following month while awaiting trial. His associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was later convicted of sex trafficking-related offenses.

The case has continued to draw intense public scrutiny due to Epstein’s connections to prominent figures across politics, finance, academia, and entertainment.

Political Reactions Likely

Clinton’s testimony is expected to spark reaction across the political spectrum, particularly given the long-running public debate over who knew what about Epstein’s activities.

As of now, there have been no charges filed against Trump in connection with the Epstein case.
