Penny, a Doberman Pinscher

(New York, NY) – A Doberman Pincher has won the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Four-year-old “Penny” was awarded Best in Show at the 150th annual Westminster Dog Show. It’s the 4th time in that span a Doberman has taken top honors. The show at Madison square Garden also featured a video tribute to late actress and comedian Catherine O’Hara.
Cota the Chesapeake Bay Retriever was named Reserve Best in Show – or first runner-up. They beat out other group winners, including an Afghan Hound, a Maltese, a Lhasa Apso, on Old English Sheepdog and a Smooth Fox Terrier.
