(Los Angeles, CA) — The man accused of crashing a car through the front gate of actress Jennifer Aniston’s property in Bel Air earlier this month has plead not guilty to felony stalking and vandalism charges. Forty-eight-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, who is from  Mississippi was arraigned on Thursday. He appeared in court with no shirt on, covering himself with a blanket. A judge decided to suspend criminal proceedings due to concerns about Carwyle’s mental health. His next hearing will be in mental health court on May 22nd. He remains behind bars without bail after Monday’s incident.

Aniston was home at the time of the incident on the afternoon of May 5th  The Los Angeles Police Department says a private security guard pulled Carwyle out of the vehicle and detained him at gunpoint until police officers arrived.  Police say he made it into the driveway but not onto Aniston’s property itself.
