(Tokyo, Japan) — Some 100-thousand people came together Easter weekend to celebrate all things Star Wars in Tokyo. It was billed as a Star Wars Celebration Japan at the city’s convention center. Inside, Star Wars fans could listen to panels, take part in cosplay and even shop Star Wars items and apparel.
There were also some exclusive announcements that were made from Lucasfilm and Disney. On stage were Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver and Jon Favreau to help promote The Mandalorian and Grogu. The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters on May 22nd, 2026
