(New York, NY) — Developers are one step closer to getting a casino in Hudson Yards as the City Planning Commission approves necessary zoning changes.
Related Companies/Oxford Properties Group and Wynn Resorts may have zoning changes approved for the Western Rail Site, but New York State still needs to grant them a casino license. With nearly a dozen developers vying for licenses across Long Island, New York City, and Westchester, the state only has three licenses up for grabs. That means the renderings of the complex that include a hotel, housing units and makes way for green space could just remain a vision if not approved.
