(Brooklyn, NY) – A woman and an eight-year-old boy are expected to be okay after they were struck by a school bus in Brooklyn. Authorities say it happened at Bedford Avenue and Farragut Road in Flatbush around 8:30 a.m. There are reports the bus crashed into a fence while turning onto Farragut and that the pedestrians were on the sidewalk near an elementary school when they were hit. The woman and child were rushed to the hospital while the 66-year-old driver wasn’t hurt. Charges haven’t been filed at this time.
