(Queens, N.Y.) — Firefighters came to the rescue outside a Ridgewood, Queens High School Tuesday afternoon, after a student horsing around suddenly found his leg impaled on a spiky wrought iron fence. Firefighters took out bandsaws to help free the teenager. It took them around ten minutes to saw through the fence. The firefighters then took the fence, with the teen still impaled and placed him in the back of an ambulance. They were raced to Bellevue Hospital. He is in stable condition.
A friend says the 15-year-old victim was messing around with friends outside Grover Cleveland High when he was pushed on top the wrought iron fence.
