(New York, NY) – The troubles continue for the Adams administration. According to obtained documents, a former official in the Adams administration held regular meetings with Chinese officials. The Daily News reports that Winnie Greco – once the mayor’s adviser on Asian affairs – hosted government leaders and pro-Chinese Communist Party groups. The meetings were discovered in hundreds of pages of her schedules that were seized when the Feds raided her home last February.
No charges have been filed against Greco as of yet. A spokesperson for Adams declined to comment on the news as Greco is no longer a city employee. Meanwhile Adams himself is still facing federal corruption charges. He is due in court on April 21st.
