(New York, NY) — If you’re venturing out of the house today for some entertainment, there are four new movies in theaters. “A Complete Unknown,” starring Timothée Chalamet, tells the story of up and coming musician Bob Dylan as he tries to make it in New York City. “Nosferatu” is also out today, inspired by the iconic 1922 silent vampire film. You can also catch A24’s “Babygirl” with Nicole Kidman and “The Fire Inside,” which follows a determined female boxer from Flint, Michigan.
The widely successful National Cinema Day that featured discounted movie tickets will return next year. The Cinema Foundation announced the initiative will be rebranded as ” @ [[ at ]] the Movies” and will be held quarterly. It will kick off January 19th with National Popcorn Day, followed by Sneak Peek Saturday on April 19th, Date Night at the Movies on August 15th and Family Day at the Movies on November 9th. Movies theaters will offer different promotions for each date. More than eight-million people visited theaters for each of the first two National Cinema Days in 2022 and 2023 that offered tickets for as cheap as three dollars.
