(Washington, D.C.) — The two NASA astronauts who have been stuck on the International Space Station since June, will have to stay there through at least March now. Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore flew to the ISS on the Boeing Starliner’s shaky first test flight in the Spring. The two were set to stay in space for just one week, but their trip back to earth was scrapped after there were fears the Boeing rocket they came up in, could not deliver them back home safely.
NASA put out a statement on the astronauts, saying “The International Space Station recently received two resupply flights in November and is well-stocked with everything the crew needs, including food, water, clothing, and oxygen. The resupply spacecraft also carried special items for the crew to celebrate the holidays aboard the orbital platform.”
