(New York, NY) — NYPD cops are looking for a creep who suckered punched a Jewish man outside a kosher grocery store on the Upper East Side on Wednesday. Stephen Zeffren, who was wearing a yarmulke, says he had just finished shopping at Ouri’s Kosher Market on 67th Street, when a complete stranger came up to him, spit on him and then called him a dirty Jew. Zeffren says he tried to just ignore the man, but moments later he says the unhinged individual punched him in the face.
The attacker ran away up Third Avenue. Zeffern, who says he is okay was treated for bleeding to his ear. Police have made no arrests.
The Teaneck, New Jersey man says he will not let the attack stop him from coming into the city.
