(New York, NY) — In 2014, then Vice-President Joe Biden described the conditions at LaGuardia Airport as a “third-world country, ten years later LaGuardia has landed number on a list of the best airports in the nation. The Forbes Travel Guide, says a survey of five-thousand well traveled fliers and hospitality experts, found LaGuardia’s recent eight-billion dollar makeover turned it into a global winner. The overhaul included more modern amenities, state-of-the-art architecture, more spacious gate areas and a unified terminal system.
