(New York, NY) – New York Governor Kathy Hochul is responding to the recent federal indictment of New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Hochul spoke about the five-count indictment at a press conference today, where she emphasized that she was closely monitoring the situation.
Adams has been brought up on multiple federal corruption charges relating to his 2021 campaign finances. Several allies within his own party, like Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have started calling on Adams to resign. Adams also faces several challenges in the 2025 mayoral primary race.
