(Flushing, NY) – Cops are looking for a man that jumped into city waters to avoid a traffic stop. Police say the suspect, believed to be an 18 to 20 year old man, jumped into Flushing Bay after cops were attempting to conduct a stop. The reason behind the stop is not clear. NYPD Harbor Units were searching the waters, however it is not known if the suspect made it out of the water. He left behind an electric scooter before jumping into the water.
