(New York, New York) – The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Columbia University is considering giving their school security guards the authority to arrest protestors on their campus this Fall. Columbia University Presiden, Minouche Shafik is reportedly weighing the options available when it comes to security measures with the Fall Semester less than a month away, and the Israel-Hamas war still raging on. The decision comes after anti -Israel protests on the Upper West Side campus last spring escalated to the point where NYPD cops were called into break them up. Students on campus this summer seem to like the idea of having officers who can arrest unruly protestors
