(New York, New York) – Two teenage boys allegedly attacked and raped a 12-year-old girl around 6:30pm Sunday evening. Police say the attack took place in East Harlem on the roof of a NYCHA building. The boys allegedly dragged the girl up a set of stairs and onto the roofs landing where the rape took place. The attackers fled on foot. The victim says she doesn’t know who the boys are. Her family says the 12-year-old is recovering . The family lives in the building where the attack occurred.
