(East Hampton, NY) — President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will spend the weekend at big dollar fundraisers in the Hamptons and New Jersey, as the calls for the president to end his re-election campaign grow louder. Democratic insiders say there is no way he can win in November, after his feeble performance at the first debate with former President Donald Trump in Atlanta Thursday night.

During a campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday, Biden acknowledged his age and that he doesn’t speak and debate as well as he used to, but he says he still can lead the nation and get things done. He told supporters he is the best candidate to take on former President Trump in November.

Some Republicans believe Biden will step aside so Michelle Obama can run. Texas Senator Ted Cruz predicts Obama will be the Democratic nominee this Fall. Cruz believes Biden may have the beginnings of dementia.

Some Democrats are privately saying the think California Governor Gavin Newsom, or Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer should replace Biden.
