(New York, NY) — Manhattan prosecutors cited dozens of threats against District Attorney Alvin Bragg as they argued for a partial gag order to remain against former president Donald Trump. The DA’s office says it’s okay with lifting Trump’s gag order on witnesses from his hush money business records case. But they’re asking the judge to keep Trump gagged when it comes to court staffers and prosecutors, except for DA Bragg himself. Their filing listed more than sixty “actionable” threats against Bragg since Trump was found guilty to argue for the gag order. A ruling could come before Thursday’s first presidential debate.
