(Los Angeles, CA) — “Inside Out 2” is on track to be one of the biggest animated hits of all time. “Deadline” says the Pixar sequel made 60-million dollars on Friday, which is the biggest opening for an animated movie since “Incredibles 2” in 2018, and has already surpassed the opening of last summer’s Spider-Man movie, “Across the Spider-Verse.” The movie forecasters say “Inside Out 2” is heading for the biggest opening of the year to date with a projected box office of 130-million dollars.
Inside Out 2 is the sequel to the 2015 box office busting Disney and Pixar film, Inside out. The movie finds the main character, Riley settling into her new home in San Francisco, but now she has become a teenager dealing with all that life brings when a child turns 13.
