(Washington, DC) – The RNC (Republican National Committee) headquarters in Washington, DC was briefly placed on a lockdown early Wednesday morning. The lockdown comes after a suspicious package was discovered on the property. Police say the package contained a Korean bible, two vials of blood and two ice packs. A hazardous materials team swiftly made it to the site of the package along with US Capitol Police to assess the situation. The lockdown was lifted around 9a.m. local time. As of right now the origin of the package is still unknown. No one was injured in the incident.
