(Washington, DC) – The United States says Russia launched a weapon into space earlier this month. The anti-satellite device was launched into the same orbit as U.S government satellites and it is believed to be capable of targeting and attacking them. The pentagon says they believe the device is a counter space weapon. In recent months, Moscow leaders and leaders in Washington have accused each other of prepping for space warfare. For years, military experts have warned that space is expected to be the new frontier for war.
