A federal appeals court rejected Hunter Biden's request to have his gun charge case in Delaware dismissed.

(Wilmington, DE) – Hunter Biden will go on trial next month in Delaware after he was indicted on federal gun charges. An appeals court rejected his bid to have the charges dismissed on Thursday. That sets up a trial date for June.

Biden stands accused of purchasing and possessing a revolver while using illegal drugs in 2018 — which would be a crime if true. The claim is that Biden eventually tossed the gun in the trash, where it was found by someone who rummages through garbage looking for recyclables. Biden — the president’s surviving son — has pleaded not guilty to three felony counts.

Meanwhile, in a separate case, Biden faces trial in late June for allegedly failing to pay taxes. Biden has plead not guilty to nine counts. That matter is being heard in California. President Biden has consistently said he loves his son as he confronts his demons connected to past drug use. But Biden has also denied he was ever involved in his son’s overseas business dealings — despite evidence connecting him to some of those events.
