NFL: Super Bowl LVII-Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles
(Philadelphia, PA) — Jason Kelce may have actually lost his Super Bowl ring in a pool filled with chili. He broke the news to his brother Travis on their podcast. He says he handed over his prized piece of jewelry to some workers at the University of Cincinnati to be used in a fun competition. It involved teams trying to find the ring inside two inflatable pools filled with Cincinnati chili. No one could find it. Kelce says promoters brought in metal detectors to try and find the ring with no luck. He says he can safely assume his Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill someplace in Cincinnati. The 36-year-old says he’s not sure his insurance will cover the big loss.
