(New York, NY) — Police say 7 women have now been suckered punched in the city in recent days. One of the victims, a TikTok star went live on the platform after she was punched in the face. The man who allegedly attacker her in Manhattan has been arrested. Police say he is 40-year-old Skiboky Stora. They say he randomly attacked the TikTok influencer. Halley Kate, on Seventh Avenue near 17th Street at 10 a.m. Monday morning. The attack was captured on surveillance video. Kate says she is okay today.
On Tuesday, 57-year-old Dulce Pichardo was punched in the face as she was walking in Crown Heights, Brooklyn alone. Doctors had to wire Pichardo‘s mouth shut to help the fractures in her jaw and face heal quicker. The man who attacked her was tackled by Pichardo’s brother, and held till cops arrived. He was arrested, but is back on the streets today.
The NYPD is confirming they are investigating seven similar attacks on women over the last seven days in the West Village, Chelsea, and Chinatown. They are unsure if the attacks are a trend or just being carried by a few individuals
