(London, UK) — There was a Kate Middleton sighting. “The Sun” reports that the Princess of Wales looked “happy and healthy” as she was spotted with Prince William shopping near their home over the weekend. The paper says the royal couple was shopping at their favorite farm store after their kids sporting events. It’s the first time Middleton has been seen in public since undergoing abdominal surgery back in January.
The Prince of Wales, mentioned his wife Kate Sunday as he attended the Diana Legacy Awards for his mother at the Science Museum in London. William said his mother’s legacy is “something that both Catherine and I have sought to focus on through our work.” Earlier that day, the Prince of Wales attended the grand opening for a youth zone in West London where he made a brief comment about Middleton’s artistic skills as he decorated cookies.
Last week, Princess Kate apologized “for any confusion” over a mother’s day family photo she edited. The image was the first official photo of Kate since she had unspecified abdominal surgery in January. Multiple news agencies pulled the photo over its apparent manipulation. The statement from the Princess said “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.” The photoshopped photo only intensified the rumor mill about Kate who had not been seen in public for months.
