(New York, NY) — It’s official now, it will be a rematch for the White House come November between President Biden and former President Trump. They both clinched their respective party’s nomination Tuesday night, setting up the 2024 race. It will be a eight-month-long general election battle, one of the longest in recent memory. Just like in 2020, the rematch will likely be decided by the same swing states that put Joe Biden over the top in 2020. Voters say the economy, illegal immigration and crime are some of the issues that worry them as they pick a candidate this Fall.
Democrats say they are crafting a campaign that will highlight the recovery from the pandemic, and Republican attacks on reproductive rights for women. Republicans say former President Trump will talk about the mess at the U.S.-Mexico border and high inflation.
