(New York, NY) — A Brooklyn bodega was shot dead Monday after he refused to give a customer a cigar for free. 37-year-old Nasim Barry had worked at Amin Deli on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights for years . Police say the wanted gunman walked into the store around 4 p.m. and asked Barry to pay for his cigar. Barry refused and the customer walked out. He returned a short time later with a gun and got into a fight with Barry, that ended with bullets flying. Barry was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead.
Barry’s mother raced to the scene, where police detailed what had happened to her son. The NYPD says they have a good description of the gunman, but so far there have been no arrests.
