Cops say 26-year-old Bechir Lehbeib, stole Israeli flags from the front lawn of a Hewlett home Sunday, and then beat up the homeowner who tried to get the flags back.  The victim, who is okay says Lehbeib shouted anti-Israel slogans at him as he punched him in the face. Video from a door bell camera helped police find Lehbeib.

Lehbeib is reportedly a migrant who came to the U.S. from North Africa in November. He had been staying at at migrant shelter on Staten Island.
