(Union, NJ) — Police say it was the mother who took out a gun and shot her husband and two young daughters dead in their Union, New Jersey home this week, before taking her own life. Police says 52-year-old Andrea Alarcon killed her husband and two daughters, one who was in first grade, the other in third grade. Cops found the murder weapon next to Alarcon when they busted into the family’s home on Wednesday morning.
Union County Prosecutor, William Daniel says there are no words that will heal those who knew the Alarcon family well. Neighbors say the family kept to themselves. One person who knew the Alarcons says their house was in foreclosure.
