(New York, NY) – As millions of Americans settle in this weekend to watch some holiday classic Christmas movies, a set featured in “Home Alone 2: Lost In New York” is now for sale. If you’re really wealthy, and want to give someone an extremely unique gift for the holidays, you could buy someone the Upper West Side home where Kevin McCallister executed “Operation Ho, Ho, Ho.” It was more like a house of horrors for Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as they played the “Sticky Bandits” and fell prey to McCallister’s (played by Macaulay Culkin) traps.
For $6.7 million the home could be yours, according to the listing on Zillow. While it was in a state of renovation and disrepair back in the early 1990s, Kevin’s uncle Rob’s old place is looking pretty good these days. It now features a wine cellar, private garden, and built-in snack bar. Just watch out for any falling bricks while walking out front — and any ropes soaked in kerosene.
