(San Francisco, CA) — President Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping will be meeting face-to-face today. The two leaders are scheduled to meet on the sidelines of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit underway in San Francisco. Biden told reporters on Tuesday the U.S. wants to restart military communications between the two nations. He said the U.S. and China should be able to pick up the phone to talk to one another in a crisis.
