Washington, DC — Republican lawmakers say they’ll be introducing a resolution to expel Representative George Santos from Congress. The move comes a day after Santos was hit with a new round of federal criminal charges. Prosecutors allege Santos stole people’s identities and made charges on his donors’ credit cards without authorization, including moving some of the money to his own bank account. Santos says he’ll fight the charges to the bitter end.
Santos was first indicted by federal prosecutors in May. He’s  due back in court on October 27th.
