STATEN ISLAND, A teenager is dead after being stabbed aboard a bus on Staten Island Friday afternoon.
Police say the 13-year-old was stabbed once in the chest just before 2:30 pm onboard a S78 MTA bus on Hylan Avenue.
The suspect, a 14-year-old boy, ran the bus before being caught by a retired NYPD Sergeant nearby.
Police believe the stabbing was gang-related.
