NY: Indoor Dining Resumes In NYC
(New York, NY) — The NYPD is searching for a crew of kids, some as young as 8 years old, who have been robbing restaurants across Manhattan. Police say there is surveillance video of one of the kids walking into Lexington Publick Bar on the Upper East Side, then climbing down stairs to the basement to steal cash from an open safe. Wait staff at other restaurants say a group of kids stole purses from patrons there. Police believe there is an adult directing the kids.
