(Shirley, NY) — There is a vigil on Long Island for a teenager, who was hit and critically injured by a police car as he rode his bike in Shirley Saturday night. 13-year-old Anthony Stinson’s friends showed up outside his mother’s home last night to give her comfort and to pray. Police say the officer that hit the teen was on her way to a call with lights and sirens on. Detectives say the officer’s vehicle swerved, trying to avoid hitting Anthony and crashed into three other cars.
