Disney Spectrum
(New York, NY) – Around 1.5 million Spectrum Cable customers in New York City are able to watch ABC and ESPN after Disney reached a deal with Charter Spectrum. Last month, Disney pulled its channels from Spectrum cable after both sides failed to reach a deal. There had been concern Jets fans would be unable to watch Monday Night Football ahead of the Jets/Bills game.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul hailed the deal and said her office is continuing to push for refunds, spanning the time Disney channels were dark. Tennis fans notably were unable to watch the US Open in recent weeks.
