MIAMI, FL, Tropical Storm Lee has now become Hurricane Lee, a category 1 storm in the Atlantic Ocean. Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center say the storm is expected to strengthen into a major hurricane over the next few days. Lee isn’t a threat to the U.S. mainland at this time, however forecasters says the storm needs to be carefully watched. Lee could eventually become a category 5 storm.
